Sorry to collide, but many of us are sleeping less than 10% of our lives. I am lucky to sleep a couple hours every few days. Yes it is dangerous at my level of sleeplessness. I have yet to find anyone address this.

I have always looked twenty years younger than my age. People have mistaken both of my daughters for a sister. I have always needed nine or ten hours a night. I know that is a lot, but I always felt fantastic when I got my sleep, I can do with less, but I do not feel as well when I get less.

Sunlight and vitamin d in the day is supposed to be really good for old people. Not just the morning in the middle of the day to maximise uvb exposure for vitamin d. See the uctelevision lecture on vitamin d
