This video guides you in interfacing a Zurich Instruments lock-in amplifier with a commercial atomic force microscope. We will show you how to enable advanced imaging methods, such as single-pass scan KPFM, DFRT, and many more, by connecting the essential signals first, followed by an intuitive workflow. Also, we introduce how the included LabOne toolset opens up more possibilities, for example, to study the tip-sample interaction at multiple frequencies in the time- and frequency-domain. Recording images and capturing the data is possible with both, by feeding the measurement results back to the AFM controller or directly with the lock-in amplifier, as shown with MFLI and FlexAFM.
