In Finnish recumbent forum there is a forum thread about photos of recumbents at closed down gas stations. I wanted to go and take a photo of my Quest velomobile in front of a closed down gas station in downtown Kokkola. Meanwhile I show you around the old town aka Neristan.

Thank you for sharing your ride with us Saukki. Scenes I will never be able to see if it wasn't for your videos.

Absolutely love seeing your beautiful machine against the backdrop and traffic of downtown Kokkola. Drone video FAB. So for us who have not had the joy of visiting your splendid country, we get a little virtual visit as a virtual velonaut. Thanks Saukki.

The old town of Kokkola looks very beautiful! lol, everyone wants to talk to you because of the velomobile. 🙂 When we are riding our trikes that happens also very often. That's again a great video, Saukki!

When I purchase the velomobile that I have found that will be perfect for me. I want to get connected with the police bicycle unit and mayor so that I can make a similar type of video to present the past and present of the amazing location that I appreciate to live.

Thanks for bringing us with you downtown and for showing us the town! Velomobile forever!
By the way, why should you want a Tesla? Just fit a little motor in your Quest and it will be a hundred times better! All right, maybe not as speedy on a motorway... 😅

Rush hour traffic in Karleby... Think velo-ads might have something to say about that. Nice vid.

Very nice video! Funny that signs are on Swedish as complement to finnish so I understand them, I needed to google why and learned that 12% of Kokkola citizens speak Swedish. Minun ei olen hyvin suomeksi...or something like that ^^

Hey Saukki, why not make a video about velomobiles in Kuusamo or farther north? You can demonstrate your skills in avoiding reindeers and moose on the roadway.

Nice! But it is no surprise that people want to talk to you. Where I live, a velomobile would be quite exotic. Most people have never seen one. I suppose it's no different in northern Finland

There are very few cars in your town. Must be nice

Siinähän oli Kokkolaa parhaimmillaan! Ilmakuva oli aika hieno. Pian muuten matkaan Kokkolaa kohti retromankeli kainalossa.

Years ago Hollywood made a film called "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town." Here we have "Saukki Goes to Town 😁." What's Kokkolas population? Just curious.

On a side note, Finland has always had a special place in my heart, and this is part of why I like your channel (that and I can pretend I'm riding your Quest). Years ago I read an excellent book about the Winter War and "sisu." Any small country that is tough enough to keep out a big one is special in my book.

Hello Saukki, thanks for that video. It seems that you have a kind of „beeping“ navigation system in your VM. Can you give advice on that or recommend some? Or what to think of? What about an Android with OSMAnd on it? Or OruxMaps, BRouter. Donyou have Video on Navigation with VM? Perhaps this could be very nice for community also. Thanks!
