They make the enemies look so much cooler than the vault hunters. The vault hunters look like background characters you would find in a random town.

Now imagine if when they release the launch trailer, those 4 boring ass vault hunters appears only to be killed in the first seconds for some bizarre thing like Marcus train or some random alien and the REAL vault hunters appears. Would be a really interesting plot-twist. (Just inhaling copium at this rate...)

It's the first time where I don't vibe with any vault hunter, it looks like it may have a character creator, but still, that takes away a substantial part of borderlands characters' flair

How are the general bandit designs cooler than our main cast of vault hunters? All 4 look so bland it’s crazy. Dude in the left left just looks like Zane almost and a downgraded Zane at that
