A million dollars for a translation job. Sounds crazy right? Then again, the job requires the translation of a riddle that has remained unsolved for over a century now. Tamil Nadu is all set to once again become the epicentre of a politico-cultural battle. The Tamil vs Sanskrit debate rages on for Indian politicians, and an archaeological site in Keeladi and the Indus Valley Civilisation are at the centre of the drama. Confused? Watch the video to find out more.

Stupid title. Why it is mentioned as '...to Change History....'.
It should be '... to reveal history...'

It is not about Tamil vs Sanskrit, it is about truth finding, it may be beyond Tamil and Sanskrit. Whatever it may be, but it should be accepted
(This statement is added because of the comments in this thread.
2000 years before peoples languages were Prakrit and Tamil only. Ancient inscriptions found in india were only in Tamil and Prakrit. Prakrit was mother tongue of north indian people, but Sanskrit was not mother tongue of any group of people. Sanskrit is not allowed to speak by women, it is used only in rituals and prayers. Sanskrit was not spoken by all Brahmins, only used - (not spoken) by the rituals performing Brahmins)

I'm North Indian, Gujarati, and I'm perfectly happy to accept IF Tamil is the oldest it is, then it is. No problem. Just want the REAL TRUTH. I reject all fabricatedor false history

The bigger question is, why is the Govt of India NOT involved in the excavations in the TN, but the TN Archaeological team is doing all the work? Why did the union govt stall the excavation and transfer the person incharge of the excavation to Assam? Is the union govt not interested in conducting the excavations? Hence the need for TN govt to step in and fund the entire project

Atleast accept now. Not only the scripts are same in indus vallay and keezhadi and many places in tamilnadu, the names in indus valley area, Afghanistan, Pakistan persia are all exactly same. The customs, burial practices are all exactly same. Mannnn look at the book written by the ias officer of orissa, you will be shocked to see so many similarities.

Be proud of India as one of the world's oldest civilisations.
Be united as one nation against enemies which will exploit disunity.
Embrace all languages of India as gift from God.
National unity immersed in cultural diversity is much stronger & enduring than any common language.
I would suggest to promote all regional languages (Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, etc.) & use English as one of the official languages for nation-wide communications.

Finally Without any proof Sanskirit win the race... Tamil have all proof of oldestest records like stone script palm script many temples, but no one interested to accept the truth . No need to compare the two languages. Which is one is best or worst. Languages are just for communication purpose. But need to respect the indian language tamil is worlds first language and culture. Indians should prould for this . Dont compare with other language

Even though I am not from Tamil Nadu, I accept the fact that Tamil is the oldest language of India and was in prevalence much before the Aryan Sanskrit and Hindi. Tamil lost its importance and Sanskrit gained in prominence after the Aryan occupation only. Entire India used to talk in Dravidian languages and the best example is the use of Brahui, a Dravidian language in parts of Pakistan even today. If some research is going, let it be, why to tarnish I am the only person speaking truth and all others are wrong is not a good principle.
