Zabbix 6.0 LTS adds interesting visualization improvements, and today we are covering a new geomap widget. Monitor GPS latitude and longitude of your hosts and dynamically display them on the world map. Be the first who is aware of problems happening in some of the regions that you are monitoring.

Cool feature. Building a geomap for the infrastructure at all our Tower Sites. Being able to label the site based on the lat/long locations would be nice though. I haven't found a way to do this yet in 6.4

Hi sir Dmitry,

Good day
Hope this comment finds you well.

Just wanna ask how are you getting the various status of the hosts in your examples to display status icons next to the hosts (green check marks, red X, etc.)

Hi Dmitry! Great and useful content! I have a question, exist the possibility of linking a host with another and see the status of the link in the geo map?

Hello Dmitry. I was jast changing the Geomap widget to represent the location my zabbix server hosts to. But cannot ad the new item until a 'key' value is entrered. insted could not find any key-name covering the latitude/longitude of the server to be addded. which key entry to use here? And again, thank you very much for taking the time for explanation.

Hello Dmitry, cool widget and thanks for the video. One question. Can the host displaylimit of 1000 be increased to a higher value e.g. 5000?

Hi Dmitry, I like your content but the mic popping is really annoying, both with headphones as over my speakers. You could add a pop-filter or just filter out the lower bass in software. Or just reposition your mic further away from your mouth.
