ISMAIL.M (Ismail Marzouk) has been creating music for almost 10 years which allowed him to make a signature sound of his own with an obvious original style that could not be confused with another. Starting off as a young DJ for Vibes Radio Station (Bulgaria) he was able to gain the respect and support of many global DJs and producers. ISMAIL.M is very well known for his deep melodic and progressive taste that is clearly projected on his own tracks as well. He is currently working on many releases for several major labels which will be released soon.

D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music opens the fall season by welcoming Dr Green back to the label for a new single. Hailing from Sri Lanka, Daniel Claessen aka Dr Green has been one of SLC-6's core artists since making his debut last year. Noted for his groovy and percussive progressive sound, the Mirissa resident has recorded five originals and a remix for the label, with his most recent offering being the the August vehicle 'Raksasa''. Also finding a home on Droid9 and Movement Recordings, Dr Green now makes a welcome return to SLC-6 with 'Duhkha', alongside remixes from Rockka and ISMAIL.M & Redspace. Dr Green continues to explore timeless progressive narratives on 'Duhkha'. Rhythmically charged throughout, its chunky cadence, retro-design and mesmerizing percussion set the piece on a course for hypnotic enlightenment. Soulful wails marry perfectly with orbiting effects as the main break commences, before a series of beefy breakbeats builds tension towards a thunderous drop and suitably tripped out finale. Fellow countryman Rockka returns for the first remix, following an appearance on the label's 'SIX: Stage-16' collection in August. The fast rising Sri Lankan takes square aim at the dance floor with a sleeker interpretation which makes great use of the original elements and a more melodic break. The release concludes with ISMAIL.M & Redspace returning to the label following projects for Time After Time and Univack. The duo continue to build on their creative synergy with a powerful rendition of 'Duhkha', complete with devilish stabs, muscular grooves and darker monochromes throughout.
