An m-health strategy to reduce pre-eclampsia and maternal and infant death in Tanzania

The research described in this video tested the use of mobile phones to improve awareness and the management of pre-eclampsia and eclampsia, the second highest cause of maternal mortality in Tanzania. As a result, government officials are assessing the potential of this mobile health solution, for the real-time management of antenatal care.
