is adding files to your WordPress core best practice? What happens when you update core? Shouldn't it go somewhere in the theme folder?

Half the video in and you haven't even covered enqueuing OR functions.php in general. Back up practices are great in general but I do not think the title of this video says anything about covering serverside management or local data back up conventions.


In reflection of the actual enqueuing, I doubt a function would ever take an arguement 'just because' please do more research before covering such a small aspect of functions.php. If you were "enqueuing" any JavaScript file, why be so convoluted.


I'm sorry but I really wanted to put more time into your video before publishing this comment but I have ran out of time.
