Love me some 52, 56, & 58. Bought the cheap good wilsons-cheap enough to replace annually and have sharp grooves. A nice heavy Gap 49-ish helps cut through the bermuda in Fl. Made two birds today chipping effectively on short par fours. 88 score from the green tees JaxBch. I’m 67.😊

My 56 degree gets more action than any club in my bag with the exception of my putter. I bought it almost as an after thught when I was first starting out, and now couldn't imagine trying to get through even a handful of holes without it. All hail the mighty 56! Great lesson!

I only have a 56 degree, and 48 degree wedges. Like Seve in the old days, just open the face and it’s a 60 or 64. If you don’t have too much bounce it’s really easy.

Been following your videos for a while now. Haven't played for 2 years but finally got out today trying to break 100. Shot 104 in 100 degree heat, so it was a rough one out there. I was physically fatigued and used your rules from the last video but had the best mental game of my life. Had fun, didn't stress over score, and didn't try any hero shots. I use my PW, AW, 52, 56, and 60 partial and full swing. It works for me doing th which shot and stopping on the green but I have put a lot of practice in. I use my 52 for my chips around the green. This is a great video showing the versatility.
My wedges are not a big distance machine they are my scoring clubs I put big height and launch angle with them. My 56 is my 65 yard full swing and yes I lose distance with the skin and height but they are money for me

I do most of my chipping with the 56 and reserve chipping with the lob wedge for “flop shots” because I like the slightly greater rollout with the 56

I really gotta commit to the shot and remember to swing through the ball on the 30-40 yard shots with the 56. I notice those shots tend to come up way short so I switch my 50 or PW on those kinds of distances as the round goes on. Still trying to figure out the feel for my 56.

I use mine for my 0-100 yd shots.
Make it a 60 for sand. And when I’m trying to flop or hit over bumps. Otherwise, got my 52!!!

If I dont hit my 54 & 58 degree clubs for full 100% shots. Then inside 110 what clubs should I be using then? should I do a 80% Gap Wedge Shot??

Ah, this makes sense. No full swings. I have all my distances figured out except 85-105. My 56 sometimes hit its 90-100 perfectly, and sometimes when I take a full swing it somehow turns into a P wedge and goes 135. I've lost faith in it, but would love a club that I can fully swing from those distances.
