I am german and I have learnt frigorist from 1957 to 1960 in the Saarland. I have then as a monteur/machanic/fitter workt. 1972 I have make the examination of a master in this business. By the begin we have build the kondensingunits and the evaporators, with open kompressors for CH3CL (cooling liquid), in own workshop. I was in this sector at 2003 in work. Then just as pensioner I am interesting at new system of work, new cooling liquids and new tools. Thank you for the presentation.

Very good point about only grounding one end of the shielding! Lots of people miss that, and wonder why they get so much bad data.

I'm sure the condition of the evaporators had something to do with bad valves on the compressor. I was surprised to see the video go from a repair to replacement but makes the most sense. Good video.

I have to say this buddy. I have a lot of time for you and this channel. I've been a refrigeration engineer in the UK for 20 something years. I've always worked in the hospitality industry and the guys I've been around have no real passion or interest in their work. Apart from my own studies I've been seriously bored with my job for some time. But since discovering your channel I've learned a lot, more in the past 3 months than I have in the last 5 years. I've also become interested in my work again. It's really a blessing to be able to find someone who cares so much about what they do and puts this information out there for others to learn from. You are one of the best mentors I have ever had the opportunity to listen to and watch. Keep up the fantastic work and thanks again 👍

Chris,
I'm a facilities tech for a family entertainment center. One of the things that I have never had any training on is HVACR. The only way that I learned anything was to call out to a local service. I would shadow them like a puppy dog. They often get irritated with that. I always ask questions and sometimes a patient technician would explain the situation. Thanks for making these videos! I have learned soo much more in the past few weeks watching your videos than the last 10 years of shadowing the technicians we have called out for service.

Nice little evaporators the way they link up to each other and control everything in one place.

YouTube suggested one of your videos to me and for some reason it caught my attention a few months ago. Im not in the HVAC world at all, but I cant stop watching.

You do a great job explaining how these systems work and why they went bad and how you are fixing it.

I do wish you did more residential stuff but I know thats not the work you usually do.

I hope there was no lightning near by when you were up there! I used to work on cell towers when I was a younger pup and had to many close ones. That's one thing that truly scares the bejesus out me. Be safe my man and thx for the great video as always.

I saw the size of the receiver and I was like “why the heck is it so freaking big” and then I hear you say “tech support said put in 20 lbs” and I immediately went “oh yeah that makes sense now”

I don't know why this was in my recommended, but I clicked it out of curiosity and watched to the end.
I am now subscribed, and looking forward to more!

I'm not in this business or anything related to it, but I enjoy watching people showing their work.
For me, it would've been helpful if there was a short explanation right before the part where you started the replacement, which was at the end now. I could kind of follow along, but I wasn't sure if I really understood what was going on until the end scene.

You are one of the good ones. You take a lot of pride in what you do and you are willing to take the time and energy to do it right the first time!

Good video. Nice to see the Inteligen system in use. Coil cleaner or food acid fumes could have destroyed the evap fins.
