@ArtsyPowerApper shows how to use variables in order to give app consumers the ability to select the column sort order. This can also be done with galleries, but the headers will need to be added above the gallery in that case. The next video will demonstrate dynamic filtering.

If anyone is wondering how to insert a hyperlink in one of these columns than 1. set the column as hyperlink 2. set the OnSelect property to to item'). This is specially useful when you want to link datatable to a document library.

Hey Audrie, thanks for sharing such videos. I have similar kind of table, where I want this table to show data basis TWO different dropdown list. For example, first I will click on Month from drop down > Select Mar '20 > then all the activated projects in this month will appear in next drop down list > Upon selection of one project, the table will show all the required columns in Data table basis "Mar '20" and 'selected project' .
Thanks in advance !!

Hi Audrie - love your videos. One thing that I am struggling with and cannot find a resource or an answer from the forums is the ability to do GroupBy of a Filtered selection or a Filtered Selection of a Group. I have a Filter function working pretty good - the only issue is that it shows everything per the formula, however I want to be able to group the values - tried a number of things without success:

Filter(Quotes, Quote_Status_Value = "Pending" || Quote_Status_Value = "Submitted" || Quote_Status_Value = "Won")

So rather than 20 lines if Pending, Submitted and Won, I need three rows - Pending, Submitted and Won.

Great vid Audrie - extremely helpful. The only reason I don't use tables too much is because I can't create an item that will allow me to move to another screen with a formedit which defaults to the item selected. As a result I have to create a gallery, which isn't laid out quite so well. Any ideas?

With your data table, the 'units' and 'unit cost' are left aligned. Is there a way to right align those columns? If you had a unit that cost 543, 210 and then other units that only cost 1.99 it makes it difficult to read when it is left aligned.

Hey Audrie - couldn't a Power BI table visual within PowerApps enable the sorting?
