What I like to do is not worry about the shriekers, and if I want a chest surround it in a wool cage, get inside and open the chest, and pray I wasn't stupid and left one side open.

I just elytra from chest to chest. When I literally cannot see anything because of the darkness effect or my night vision potions is about to run out, I just nose dive into the ground and respawn at a bed above the ancient city. Wait a minute and get going again. Also, I put a block above a chest I already looted to avoid looking at the same ones again.

You're not supposed to "defeat" the Warden. You're supposed to avoid it entirely. But if you want to get bodied by it then be my guest. You'll need many totems, enchanted golden apples, max netherite armor, and a 6 powered full beacon set up to stand somewhat of a chance in a fight against the Warden. And that's in a fair fight. Not some gimmicky fishing rod or shoot a bow from a distance crap.

I remember i found out how to crouch jump like when your not crouching you know the distance is like you just sprint jumping but you crouch at the end 7 pixel before you hit the ground and I will add it was fun so basically do this easy technique to be fast in the underground when you have to be undetected by the skulk shreker
