Apache Lucene/Solr based search became de facto standard in software development during few last year. Considerable number of solutions in different programming languages take advantage of Lucene/Solr features. Understanding specifics of these libraries helps to design and develop solutions on their base. The talk would cover main data structures and algorithms behind Lucene/Solr.
