I am from Kolkata and I grew up following Sabyasachi Sir. Every design published on newspaper I usually wait for Saturday's newspaper fashion story page. He is such an inspiration.

"Sabyasachi" is not a name .. it's an emotion wherein you experience the royalty and the grandeur of arts and crafts of India! I'm always fascinated that how he manages to grab little little elements from every state's culture and creates his own magic!! And.. the magic created is seen by the whole world as he represents "India" on a global scale! He has made the people from outside world to respect India's art and crafts by creating his outstanding masterpieces !! The best part is that our craftsman's are getting bread and butter due to him! He's preserving the essence of culture in a way! I'm in love with the Sabyasachi world and huge huge respect for him! Dear sabya sir, I hope someday I meet you in person and thank you !

Sabyasachi is beyond the designer, his level of thinking about the handicrafts, employment and india is very very very much different from those designer who make their pieces only for earning and glamour. The way he used handicrafts in his store is mind blowing and litterly inspired to a lot. He represents the old Indian heritage and culture. Today I can see the inside man of sabyasachi who is really impressive and greatful. And thanks to national Geographic Channel also as they make such beautiful video
