Awesome advice!!! I'm a professional yet interviews leave me barely able to speak. I ALWAYS say something stupid because my anxiety gets so high - then I try to fix it and it always ends up a train wreck. I am SOOO glad you discussed this topic. I haven't been on interviews for a while and I used to disguise a strength as a weakness (perfectionist). I always thought this wasn't the right approach but in those interviews, I received positive body language.

I just had a interview which I aced, and i answered this question by stating some technical areas i was weak and explained how i was actively working on it. Then i talked about a weakness that is kind of my strength as well, and how i have been working on it for a long time but some times it still shows up. They loved it.

This is really helpful. I think the idea of coming up with some practical weaknesses does show that you have given thought to areas for improvement (as no one is perfect).
