Pastor of mega-church resigned under pressure from church leaders

David Chadwick, pastor of Forest Hill church in Charlotte said tensions between him and his senior staff made him leave Forest Hill. Chadwick now pastors a new church just a few miles away.

As a Pastor for 43 years myself, I seriously question this Pastors integrity in starting his “new church” only 3 miles from the church he just resigned from. In fact, starting a new ministry anywhere near that town would be morally wrong, in my view. He is obviously trying to cause a split and wants his half of the split. Selfish and just plain wrong! Yeah I'm not buying it.. Do you really expect us to believe that after 39 years of preaching at the church that he built, along with the fact that he's arguably the greatest pastor in Charlotte, that some anonymous folks randomly decided to disrespect this awesome man and report him for being offensive? I've been going to church there since I was 11 (31 now) and I've never heard any bad words spoken about Chadwick so I find that to be a bunch of Bologne.. Something went down that isn't being mentioned and 9/10 it usually has to do with finances...Hints to why the first thing they denied was.. "Oh it has nothing to do with finances" .. Yeah...

I wouldn't have left my church. Sorry, the elders could have left. In this economy, I am sure many people would love to take their place.
