Federal ministers provide update on response to convoy protests – February 9, 2022

In a virtual news conference, ministers Bill Blair (emergency preparedness), Marco Mendicino (public safety), and Omar Alghabra (transport) provide an update on the federal response to ongoing trucker protests in Ottawa, as well as those taking place in Coutts, Alberta, and Windsor, Ontario. Demonstrators are protesting against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other public-health restrictions.
