What's the difference between these dry transfers and the less expensive dry transfer paper made for ink jet printers?

How do you prevent it from being rubbed off? Do you use another coating?

So its first yellow alcohol ink followed by silver alcohol ink. Then two layers of some clear coat? Lastly a layer of some glue with a sensitizer in it. Would love to know what the last product is called.
