I have two brothers, I left the church 30 years ago, I couldn't agree with the immoral scriptures.
Christianity is like a picture of a nice burger, when it arrives it looks so different to the picture, I'm sure you know what I mean.
I read the bible several times and found I was better then that within.
There was no youtube back then I was alone in my struggle out.
My brother is now out and your videos are medicine to him, thank you for making this pure truth for all to see.
The other brother is still shackled with religion but hopefully he will one day find reality, unfortunately he is a full on conspiracy follower also, everything is not what it's seems, how religion has taken him down this road is so sad.

Some of the comments I see below is part of the reason I'm an atheist now. The other reasons are I actually like evidence and reality. Carl Sagan said it best "Science as a Candle in the Dark." I was sick of pretending I could live with my love of science and the supernatural. I'll read The Odyssey for a better story from that time period.

Inconsistencies in the Bible?! No!! Say it isnt so!! Lol. The Bible is overflowing with inconsistancies and contradictions. I'm going to borrow a Christian phrase. Since becoming an Atheist about 4 years ago, I feel "born again". I have a more accepting attitude toward certain groups of people that Christians call sinners for one reason or another. I think that, among other things, has enhanced my morals and I feel better for it. I still have a ways to go, but I am improving myself.

I especially love the part where Jesus states that it pleases God to reveal himself to small children more so than to adults and to hide himself from educated adults.

Literally, "Guys, you've got to indoctrinate your kids while they're young. Any adult with any sort of education is too smart to believe this shit!"

I had a guy get angry with me because I said all babies are born Atheist. OMg was he mad hearing that! Then he nearly blew a fuse when I said your "religion" really depends on where your born. He literally started to short circuit.

Hi Aron! I’m not sure if you’re going to see this, but I wanted to leave a comment saying thank you. Around 2 months ago, I de-converted from Christianity, and am still in the long process of de-converting. Your videos are some of the ones that helped me realize how wrong my religion was, and how it is very likely that a God, especially the Christian one, does not exist. I truly believed that I had a genuine relationship with God, and I truly did love God. But now I’m an agnostic-atheist, and no longer believe such a thing.

It's honestly not surprising to see them say this when you learn about the SovCit movement and know that there's a decent overlap between that and fundamentalist Christianity.

As far as the verses that talk about people not knowing God, Christians would most likely say that they all believe God exists, they just don't have a personal close relationship with him.

And the analogy about the person being surveilled by the FBI was excellent!
