such a shame they only made this specific version with the updated suspension and TCS for a year, I absolutely hate the updated headlight on the newer ones.

Great review as always, packs a lot into a few min. For mine the colours are ugly, like a bad custom paint job.

I see there is still a fair amount of brake dive. For the life of me, I don't know why Yamaha doesn't come out with an R version with upgraded suspension etc.

I wonder whats better bang for your buck out of this and the Bandit 1250S they seem pretty close with this having higher peak HP but the Bandit having quite a big chunk more torque

Last I heard Yamaha was on their third revision of the cam chain tensioner in that engine and it's still failing.

Taunt suspension?? The suspension appeared to be well under damped as every time the bike changes gear you can see it rock back and forward.

a cc increase in the future (900cc or something) would be great!! And it wouldnt collide with mt-10 cause +100cc and 1 more cylinder make a different bike..!

Why would you want traction control on a bike like MT09? I think it just ruins the whole character of the bike, gladly you can switch it off though. Unless you are a newbie.
