I will never understand the hate this story gets. This wasn't something Nick Spencer woke up one night and decided to do. This has very clearly been planned for years. Everything going on in the Marvel Universe since Secret Wars has had a direct relationship with this book, and we're only finding out how slowly. Civil War II was caused by Cap, Banner's death was caused by Cap. Standoff was caused by Cap. This truly is a masterpiece in the making.

I actually dig Secret Empire. I have gotten all the issues (free comic book day, #0, #1 variant cover, 2, 3) and picking up 4 today. But it's hard to keep track with all the mini series you guys keep doing. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy them but it's a bit much. SE: uprising was good, and now you're coming out with SE: defenders?

Honestly, if they had chosen a diff evil organization to do this story with it probably would be going over better.
Also, can we expect the main series to answer questions about where the Peter Parker Spider-Man and other international heroes are during all this?
