Session skate sim is definitely the best skateboarding game right now. Skate 2 was always my favorite but this one is definitely the best one from the new era of skateboarding games.
That first clip was actually difficult. I do not aim for the realism with these clips.
Where is Skate 4 btw?

You did make it look smooth as hell.
I think the reason people say it's not smooth is the animations can be a bit clunky looking because of how they work. But I love how hard the game is, and if you adjust your stats enough and spend heaps of time with it, it starts looking less clunky

Yup, this made the decision for me, i couldn't choose between skater XL and session but this video made me instantly choose session, the sound, the graphics, the street spots, it's perfect.
And the gravity of skater XL looks so weird like u are on the moon, i hate that, thanks for this video!

Shame there's a few comments just saying the game looks clunky because they don't like it. I'd love to know what game they think is smoother, because Skate 3 definitely isn't?

Really nice and smooth lines here even if they aren't the most realistic - but hey guess what, it's a game, people can play how they want to.
Also, always enjoy watching other people's takes on that big stairs run at the end of the video!

The thing about session is it’s still a bit jank, but if you’re going for clips and keep redoing your line until you get things looking smooth it looks REALLY smooth. Not to mention how you position your feet, how you catch your flips, how you Ollie, how you do literally anything can be tweaked to look different just by doing slight variations with the sticks. Normal gameplay looks smooth enough imo, just has some real jank moments thrown in. Either way, it’s the most fun I’ve had with a skating game in a while.

I’ve always felt session looks amazing but doesn’t feel smooth to play almost like I have to focus so hard I may as well go for an actual skate because it’s easier lol (outside of injury)
