People are broke, and prices went up. Ford is losing sight of what a mustang is supposed to be. Gives us a cheap car with a V8 in it and stop trying to make it a supercar.

When the base model now costs what the GT used to, yet most of us are still making the same wage we did 10 years ago, yea, that will hurt sales.

Drop the screens and drop the price. Bring back physical HVAC controls and a conventional parking brake. Plus let’s be real, its not a working man’s car anymore. Dropping $60k plus for a Mustang is INSANE! In Dec 2014 I brought my fully loaded 15’ GT pp for $37k how did that jump so high?

They can rot on the dealership parking lot and Ford can begin the layoffs.

People ain’t paying for that shit.

From 1993 $15, 500 for a lx5.0 to 2024 64k atleast. Did your wages quadruple???? Products are far outpacing wages!

Too expensive, what used to be an entry level sports car is now reaching prices that exclude the target buyers.

Pricing is the single biggest reason the sales dropped. It's not tuning. It's not the screens. It's not even the look. If this car was $37-39k for a base GT, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

$80k for a mustang and $135k for a pickup

ford is lost.

Mustangs always sold best when they were affordable to the masses. Take all the tech shit out and make it $30k-$35k and I bet you people will buy them again.

For me it was the screens on the dash looked cheap and like they just threw them on there, I want gauges not a desk top

I’ve had 4 mustangs, 79, 89, 92, 99. It’s now just to expensive to purchase and maintain a modern sports car. Today, I’m content with low cost reliable transportation.

Price is the biggest factor, period. 60k for the lower end GT and $75k for a just crazy.

I hate the screens. I’m inundated by screens. Give me some tech in the center console and some well designed classic analogue gauges elsewhere. You see the luxury brands shifting away from so much digital. It’s just too much. I don’t want two 15” screens across my dashboard

Those screens did it for me. I like a classic look.

Ford lost sight of what the Mustang is, it’s a poor man’s super car. Supposed to be affordable car with lots of horsepower. I got my 19 gt for 31k 460 hp. The s650 isn’t that much better than the s550 and is double the price at 50-60k that’s absurd for only 20 more horsepower around 480 ish horsepower it’s not worth it, too expensive.. i mean a brand new dark horse is almost the price of a used 2020 gt500 it’s dumb makes no sense..

Ain’t nobody wanting to pay these MSRP prices, it’s as simple as that, I work at a Nissan dealer, the New Z car is in the same boat, no one wants to pay the 60+k we have them at, a GT shouldn’t be nearly half a 6 figure car… it just shouldn’t never come down to that.

Always been a Mustang fan, but there’s no way I’d pay for a new Mustang when I can get an M2 that I can actually unlock and modify 🤷‍♂️

Camaro and Mustang have priced themselves out of the market for average Americans. The same thing happened with Japanese sports cars in the 90s. The Supra, 300zx, RX7, and 3000GT, were all over $40k IN THE MID 90s!!!! All amazing and technologically advanced at the time, but VERY expensive!

Those 2 screens on the dash killed it for me

In 1990 a brand new Fox body GT out the door was about $12.5k, that now is about $35k with inflation. The 1999 new edge cars could be bought for $19k out the door, that is still $36k with inflation. A $65k Mustang is just stupid.
