About Chain Reaction
Based on the Sony Pictures Television format, the classic game show – which originally debuted in the 1980s – features two teams competing against one another to complete chains of words, after the first and last words of the chain are revealed. Each word in the chain is related in some way to the word directly above and below it. By making inferences based on the revealed words and the revealed letters in incomplete words, contestants try to fill in the word chains to win money. Actor and TV personality Dylan Lane, who originally hosted the show’s network premiere 14 years ago, returns to host.

the last speed round is a bit silly that the contestants need to keep requesting a letter underneath the word as part of the countdown. it caused a lot of trip-ups

It is hard when you are competing. The brain is a tricky thing. When the spot light goes on, good cognition sometimes goes dark. We went on (Church Friends), won, but not the big bucks, and when we watched ourselves, we looked a lot like idiots when the thinking breaks down. Totally fun. Great show and if we came back, we would probably again choke like dogs in the final round...again. We are Christians and would make the sacrifice so others could laugh at us and make fun.

Dylan Lane has clearly done so much better hosting this show in the 2021 reboot than he did in the 2006 reboot. He's clearly stepped up his game!

YESSS! I loved this game. So glad it's back and with Dylan! Great voice, Dylan.

I'm also loving the fact that he announces all the letters instead of just the first one. It helps me play along too since I'm blind and can't see the letter drop. Hope he keeps that up. it was ify in his first go-round as host. I like the end game much better this time, too.

Dylan Lane has come along way since he first hosted this show fifteen years ago. You forget how young he was when he first hosted the show. The set is so much better. The contestants have gotten smarter. I love the new look bonus round and the money has gotten bigger.
