How to Use the Remote Engine Starter on a KIA Seltos

Kia Seltos - Using the Remote Engine Starter on a Kia Seltos is a 2-step process.
Step #1 - Lock the doors, but only push the lock button once on the key fob
Step #2 - After locking the doors, right away hold, and continue to hold the Remote Start button the key fob for 3sec to 5sec until it starts.

I have a 2022 Kia Seltos... Is there a way to program it go to longer than 10 minutes? Also, mine beeps the horn when it's done I'd like to disable that too. My mom has a 2012 Kia Soul and her remote start works better/different, it stays on for about 20 minutes.

I know the video is a couple years old but I thought some things would be helpful to viewers:

you need to press the start button within 4 seconds of pushing the lock button if you want to automatically start (I took mine into the dealership thinking my key was broken but luckily I found the answer)

Also, once it’s started you should be able to unlock your door by just pressing on the button on the handle. After you get in don’t press the break or start button (this causes the car to turn off) instead just wait for the screen to confirm you’re inside with the keys 👍🏼

I just got a 2022 and the remote start only works part of the time and never has worked through the app. My safety alerts don’t seem to work either (blind spot, back-up alert, etc) can’t figure it out 😔
