I had to rewind this back several times to hear what you were saying, I was to busy watching the dishwasher open slowly all on its own. LOL I fermented radishes a few weeks ago and I love them in salads. My husband said they are nasty and he won't eat them at all. I did my radishes in shreds to top tacos with too. Thanks for the tip on the jars. I will have to find some.

I’m surprised that a lot of people who share ferment recipes on YouTube don’t ever mention Fido jars.
I use them exclusively and they work marvelously. I’m glad you’re sharing how nice they are. People should know.
In my area you can often find them in TJMax or like stores for a pretty good price.

I love love love bible study! Unfortunately I don't have any adults to do it with. I do do it with my girls and than just my time with HIM for hours in the morning. Now a days you gotta do what you gotta do... Have to have a ton of discernment

Super fun! Have your tried roasted radishes? That’s on my list of things to do.
2 notes for you: Robert murdered his cheeseburger 🍔 Burnt!! 😢
And your dishwasher is possessed. 😮

It’s a joy to watch Robert participate in the fermenting journey with you. Really curious about his brandy, too. I just harvested the last of jalapeños, so I’ll try this recipe.

I also find no need to submerge produce when using fido jars. Thanks for sharing.

Are you reading my mind? I was just saying I have to make the radish, jalapeño, carrot and onion mix they have at the salsa bar at some Mexican restaurants… yay Bible study! Would love to hear about it.

Love ferments in the fido jars.... I've done radish chips and they were excellent. By far my favorites so far are - watermelon rind pickles and also fermented cherry tomatoes with basil. Those tomatoes with basil were absolutely incredible!
