I get more scared the more they rage when they say “they’re coming to take me 😭

You can tell in all of their songs, they are having so much fun playing their music. You can feel that in their music, that happy positivity, I love it, it is like a hidden element to their music.

I wish I could scream that much-

Also a lot of people have been hating on this band I think it’s good I like aggressive stuff
Like people have been calling them ugly and saying that they have no talent

I cannot believe I haven't heard of this band until tonight. I'll take the win at a loss.

"They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!" is a 1966 novelty record by Jerry Samuels, recorded under the name Napoleon XIV. Released on Warner Bros. Records, the song became an instant success in the United States, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 popular music singles chart on 13 August  and reaching No. 4 on the UK Singles The lyrics describe the effect on the mental health of an individual after a break-up. The main character is seemingly addressing an ex-girlfriend, and describes his descent into madness after she has left him. However, the last verse of the song alludes to his dog running away. His paranoid thinking makes him believe he is being pursued by "men in clean white coats" (i.e., psychiatric attendants) who are coming to transport him to the funny farm (mental hospital) and welcomes them as an end to his misery.

The idea of females like this is what inspires me to go on with my dream as a female vocalist.

When I was growing up my Dad would play the original on vinyl. It was the weirdest song ever but it stuck in my head. Takes me home hearing this cover. lol
Love it.

These ladies to sing any lullaby and I'd be rocking out.

I am very pleased that a band I enjoy listening to happened to cover an old childhood favorite of mine; and not only that, they rocked the shit out of it.

Original used to be played on Dr. Demento's show. this is a 50 year old song.

I love this band. Every video I've watched of them, it looks like they're having a blast, and this one especially they look like they're having so much fun. That, and I really envy how low the brunette's voice can go--that would hurt my throat trying to get down into that range.

I thought that I wouldn't be able to take this song seriously because of the original when I first read the title, but I actually really like it. They managed to make it sound full of desperation, the way that I think a person who has lost their mind would be, and that's what makes it good.
