You can also “digitally” copy a physical key, if someone has their keys in a picture you can copy the key with a fairly high level of success. It doesn’t even require a key cutter you can just create an stl of the key and 3D print it.

True but some systems ..key fobs automatically deactivate themselves..when a nother get copied..a master system recognize s this..not all systems but a few do.meaning the original fob will become deactivated...anyone else notice this ?keep up the great work.

Technically does an original key always need to be read or can the RFID frequency be bruteforced to try a whole bunch of frequencies? I think I heard you mention something like this a while back.

Two questions here. Doesn’t HomeKit keys prevent this as there is no static key and much like Apple Pay the signature is a singularity cannot be recreated ? Would nfc keys inside something like a ridge wallet, as an example be fine ?

When I first met my gf now wife, I had used a keysys to clone the apartment parking lot gate key with her permission and would use it so she didn't have to open the apartment gate for me.
