"The cutest little dystopian nightmare"
That seems accurate enough

The tax code seems overly complex, making it difficult to identify the most tax-efficient strategies for my income and investments. Are there resources available to help me understand relevant deductions and credits that could maximize my after-tax returns?

Cop or not, if I see a robot snooping around I'm fearing for my life and acting accordingly.

Robocop is not a ruthless killing machine, It's a pest control cyborg.

It works well for when someone is holding up inside a building or with a hostage, you can visually assess the situation without risking human life.

Government robot: hundreds of thousands of dollars

Cost of an average Slegehammer: 20$

he said only used for dangerous situations like entering a building that may have someone carrying and is actively a threat it can save the lives of officers so they don’t get shot or stabed while entering and allows them to gather info safely I think it is a good tool if not abused

“More terminator than R2-D2.”

You fail to realize just how much of a chaos can R2-D2 actually is.

I don’t exactly see how such a good boy would lead toward a surveillance state. He’s not really hard to miss and given how expensive they are I’m sure the PD’s who have them would only bring them out when absolutely necessary given how easily one could be picked up off the street and shoved into a soundproof faraday cage where it can’t communicate out. Regardless, they are very good boys indeed

I think a robot like like the robo dog has a place in both police and fire services because both are often involved in search-and- rescue and hazardous environments, police have already been using remote controlled robot in very similar situations from SWAT teams to bomb disposal this one just has a little bit more all-terrain capability so just being able to go upstairs.

Apparently, they can be mounted with weapons, although no one's said that publicly. Our current mayor is big into spending taxpayer money on toys as long as they're for "law and order, " but investing that money in public services would go a lot farther to prevent crime. In any case, most of us NYers are pretty sure the first time that robot gets sent into a situation, somebody's gonna steal it.

I think it's a step in the right direction, I say this mainly because it gives us a look at how robots that serve in the first aid field work. Then we can work until it is perfected. In my opinion, we must find a way whatever the cost is.

remember: the robo-dog can be deactivated through disconnecting the battery on the lower bottom of their "stomach". remember to avoid the joints as they are strong enough to break bone, should one of your fingers get caught in them

worst comes to worse, you could probably throw bricks at it or kick out their legs n' put something really heavy on top so it can't move, then rendering their cameras useless by breaking them or using spray paint

You're confusing Murphy aka Robocop with the ED-209, that was the ruthless killing machine.

I agree that people like the police need to know what their stepping into before going in but yeah theres a hundred better ways to spend that money

I feel like the video game rainbow six siege actually captured a perfect kind of surveillance item for police. Ground drones. Cameras on wheels. Make em small, and you have a perfect drone cam my friend.

Nyc already dumps tons of money into trying to stop it at the source to no avail. This is a drop in the bucket

RoboCop was pure hearted ❤ the corporation turned him into a psychopath by tweaking his emotions down and logic up

I think it's a good investment, due to the unpredictable or complex "terrain" in a crime scene these boys can probably do a better and adaptable recon than a tiny tank with a camara.
