Delibird is literally the Santa Claus Pokémon. Think about how unreasonably fast Santa Claus has to be to make all his deliveries now, then multiply it for the increased population of the future. The fact that it ever gets outsped in turn is the real headscratcher.

Remember that Diglet (and assumedly Wiglett) can pull it's head into its hole at the speed of light according to the pokedex... so it should be even faster

Keep in mind, while those specific stats are impressive, the rest fall short to compensate. The worm for instance is ridiculously slow

first two actually make some sense, flamingos in real life have much stronger legs than some random birds. Or at least it would pack more punch, even if a sting could be mroe fatal, not to mention it is a fighting type, who in general have higher physical attack, so they probably kick when they fight in Pokémon, and since pokemon do not have to follow real world physics it makes more sense in Pokémon. And Orthworm is a metalic worm. But the rest were kind of shocking
