Good video. I have the 7254 remote and everything is good until I hit the lock button, nothing happens. The orange light stays on but it never connects so I can lock/unlock the door with remote.

Hi there, Not sure if you are following this thread anymore..but here goes. I have the 7857v and I can get the remote to pair and am successful in the steps. The remote works to unlock/lock and start the vehicle. However, the remote flashes the orange light and the green lock light 4 times every 3 or 4 minutes thereafter. Not sure what's going on. I have tried going through the steps and ended up with the same issue each time. This is the 3rd remote for the system. The first one was stolen with my keys, and the second one had the same issue, so I purchased a new remote and I am still having this issue. The car place wants a reinstall cost to evaluate the system.

I have 7656 viper key fob. I followed instructions and its not paring. I open door, turn the ignition to on position, press button on antenna then release and hold it until siren chirps and blue led flashes. Then I hold F button for 10 seconds then click remote start then lock button. It doesent pair. Any tips?

Help, I did all the steps, the fob did pare but it only starts the car, the lock or unlock does not work when car is off, ( lock and unlock buttons works when I start the car from the fob controller)

Once I hit remote start.On my python 7857p Fop turns green car turns on. But green light on fob does not stay on. Can someone help?

I got a viper a year ago and my remote is not working. Whenever i want to use it and i press a button all 4 green lights light up. I have to press the function key and then unlock and then itll work, but it wont arm. And when i try to start the car with it its starts, stalls, starts runs for half a second then cutsout. Any idea how to fix

I’m following the directions, but the remote won’t pair, after I hit the lock button it pauses then the top light turns orange as it it didn’t pair. I just wanted to change my batteries.

The issue I am having is the viper system was added and not a factory system. I have followed the set up instructions since I do not have a windshield button. Several attempts and it will not pair. Any suggestions?

I followed the instructions everything seems to work but after 10 minutes I try to use it and all I get is a buzzing noise on any button I push
