How is it the aussie metalcore scene is just so beyond every other scene and yet so underrated?

Album of the decade for me, being released at the very end of it. It just sums up everything I learned to love about metal music in the last 10 years. I discovered Thornhill in spring last year and the Butterfly EP became my musical bible in terms of groove, ambience, harmony and melody. That they've outdone themselves with this album is unbelievable.

I love that rhythm section of the chorus. It's so It's like a simple little power chord you learn when you're playing the guitar for the first time, but used here its so masterful in carrying the song's emotional sections.

These guys are are so underrated, everything about The Dark Pool is perfect, and they're all such incredible musicians. There' so much depth to the music I feel like everytime I listen to it I hear something new, and I've been listening through the whole album 3-5 times a week for the past 4 months. I know it's only been a year since TDP was released but my body craves more music from them
