What to do about the Anglo-American Empire? That is a topic that should be addressed especially the control of the world's economies through their control of the global financial sector.

Council of Foriegn Relations has such a powerful panel on each subject. It is unfortunate that they keep their discussion so lopsided. In this day and age of internet and mass exposure and dissemination of information, bodies such as CFR need to be honest about these discussions. Foriegn policy decisions in US are not clearly paying their dividends for anybody.

Giving no specific comments on what has been said, I think it would really make a conversation both more fruitfil and more interesting if they had invited the russian foreign policy advisers.

Observing the way the panelists are speaking about today's geopolitics, leads me to ask the question: 'which country is more imperialistic, America or Russia?'

What would be your answer?

Oh boy such an imperial rhetoric from the west again. This is one of the main issue why Putin gaining so much support while indeed he was making all kinds of unpopular movies on the geo-political arena and inside the Russia. You can't ignore very important fact what after USSR collapsed and Russia for about ~25 years was working on the internal issues and development, meanwhile West kept expanding NATO towards the Russian border (they promised not to) using all kinds of false reasons. The Ukraine is another example and Mr. Ivo just prove my point with his militaristic and aggressive suggestions. This kind of rhetorical harms true opposition in Russia and only helps Putin justify his actions... US should think for a sec what would it do if Russia would support Mexico and supply lethal-military to the anti-US opposition on the US boarder. The answer is obvious. We need to think and act with non-military solutions if we really aiming to "improve the world" - otherwise we're not different then any other regime with imperial-aggressive mentality.
