Blessed Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, everyone! We haven't posted in a while as many of us have been returning to work. Here is a great prayer to end your day and to remember Jesus' Most Sacred Heart.

By the way, we did a quick virtual tour to Utah to visit a special friend, and create this video!

"Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, teach me an entire forgetfulness of myself since that is the only way one can find entrance into you." - St. Claude La Colombiere

Reflections on “Tell The World of His Love”
By: Girlie Pantoja

“For God so loved the world, He gave us His only Son, Jesus Christ our Savior His most precious one”

These words summarize how Christ’s death is the supreme sign of God’s love for men. Taken from John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.). Everything around us is a revelation of God’s kindness, mercy, and love for humanity.
“God is love” (1 Jn 4:16). The gift of His Son is God’s love unsparingly poured out into the world.
-----

“He has sent us His message of love
and sends those who hear
to bring the message to everyone
In a voice loud and clear.
Let us tell the world of His love
The greatest love the world has known..”

His ‘message of love’ is the good news, the gospel. The command, the call, the summons, the great commission – these are all echoed in the four gospels.

“Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature.”(Mk 16:15)

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.“ (Mt 28: 19-20)

“repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nation”s (Lk 24:47)

“As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” (Jn 20:21)
-------

“Search the world for those who have walked astray
and lead them home “

The message may be referenced to Luke 14, in The Parable of the Great Feast:
“‘Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and bring in here the poor and the crippled, the blind and the lame.’ (Lk 14:21) “Go out to the highways and hedgerows and make people come in that my home may be filled.” ( Lk 14:23)
God patiently seeks out the last, the least, the lost and the lonely and brings them to his banquet.
-------

"Fill the world's darkest corners
With His light from up above
Walk every step, every mile, every road
and tell the world, tell the world of His love"

“You are the light of the world.” (Mt 5:14) “Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.” (Mt 5:16)

The Sermon on the Mount in Matthew’s gospel teaches us that we are the light of the world, the bearer of the true Light, Jesus Christ. Everything good that we do is not for our own glory but for the greater glory of the Father.
-----

“Let us tell the world of His love, the greatest love the world has known.”

How can I tell of his love?
Not from surveys nor hearsay, nor from witnesses.

I have to experience God’s love - his intense, all-encompassing, unsparingly given, unconditional love.
I have to allow myself to be loved by God.
And the overwhelming truth is “He loved me first.”

And so I drink of his love.
I immerse in his love.
I breathe, and move and have my being in his love.
Only then can I authentically “tell the world of His love, the greatest love the world has known.”
