Investing since Oct '87 crash taught me to never again ignore the big trends: internet, cloud, mobile computing & now AI. NVIDIA will continue to grow & prosper for many years. My biggest regret is not having the wisdom to never sell my Amz, Google, MS, Apple ... shareholdings.

So, did Bloomberg manipulate the market in real time and we're all going to ignore the elephant in the room?

Nvidia brings in a lot of investors that are new to the market. Which is good. Many of these new investors have margin accounts which they do not understand. A margin account allows you to borrow purchasing power from your broker to buy more stock. This loan is collateralized by the value of your account. When the price of the shares in your account drops your collateral for your loan also shrinks (because they are the same thing). Your broker has the right to sell your shares at the market to protect itself. You agreed to this when you signed the margin agreement. When the broker's computer sells the shares those trades are not limit orders at a specific price, they are market sell orders at the bid. When these orders repeatedly hit the bid they force the price down.

How are we to know if demand will continue, if we don't even know what the charges are, or what the remedy will be, we need a legal expert on this Unique situation

It’s crazy how people dont know the real reason, jensen just removed vesting time period for it’s huge number of employees after the earnings trade selloff. The new selloff is just an indication of the confidence of it’s own employees on it’s further stock growth story.

Post a video from Ives or Tom Lee when they ever recommended selling a stock. Even during 2022-2023 when the market tanked….. why post videos of people who are always bullish or always bearish? What insight do they ever provide except they never change their view?

Demand will collapse within the next 12 months, once most people will have had the chance to try AI assistants and realised they're rubbish.
