The growth of Santiago, Chile’s capital city, has been steady in recent decades. Its population has climbed from 3.9 million in the mid-1980s to more than 6.2 million today, and the city’s area has increased by about 60% in the last 40 years. Situated in a valley between the Andes Mountains and the Chilean Coast Range, Santiago’s growth has caused it to experience high levels of trapped air pollution and smog.

Excelente video. Felicitaciones. En 35 años, Santiago se ha expandido lo que mas ha podido. Y aun queda mas. Saludos.
