What If The Moon Landing Was Faked?

Показать описание
Do you believe in conspiracy theories? Do you believe that the American government sent men to the Moon, decades ago? Roughly six percent of Americans believe the Moon landing was faked. Another five percent are undecided. What do you think it would take to pull off such a hoax? If it was indeed a hoax, how many people would have to keep quiet? And how much would that cost?

What If asks some of the most provocative hypothetical questions in science — and then tries to answer them with the help of established scientific theory and the latest research.

When Neil Armstrong turned down big money for charity, by refusing to swear on a Bible that he walked on the moon I knew the answer

Then we must ask the question...Why have we not returned to the moon in over 40 years?

They wouldn't have to bribe every employee. They could actually send them to space and just tell a select few that they aren't going to the moon

I love how they don't examine pictures that DO show converging shadows. Anyone who looks deeply into this knows.

I remember when I was 14 and I mentioned in earth science that I didn't think we went to the moon, and classmates flipped out and angrily kept saying they we did. I was pretty surprised by the outbursts.

After years of learning more of our history as well as other's, I kinda still have my doubts and skepticism a little bit. 🤔🤔

You know why I never used to doubt the Apollo missions, but now I'm not so sure? Videos like this. Educate yourself on psychology and deception. It's interesting that spotting the ways in which you can be manipulated by others would only take one school term, yet those critical life skills aren't taught to kids in western schools. One of the biggest vulnerabilities we have as humans is the psychological tactic of the straw man argument. This, along with the creation of derogatory labels such as "conspiracy theorist", make it uncomfortable for intelligent people to ask legitimate questions, for fear of being associated with those who fashion head protection from aluminum foil. Look up where they first coined the term "conspiracy theory", and by whom, and why they created it. Then admit that this alone is good enough reason to stop calling people that. Asking questions should never be something you mock, which brings me to my point. Why are the legitimate questions about the Apollo missions ignored in these propaganda pieces? Why not answer the real questions? Why is there an immediate association made with flat earthers when this topic comes up? Knowing the history of the US government and other western democracies in general, is now the most compelling reasons why I'm not so sure we went to the moon. You don't need everyone at nasa to be involved - that's a straw man argument. The missions were fully funded and capable of achieving the task, except for one thing they discovered late in the timetable - the Van Allen belts and the radiation levels outside of the earth's magnetic field. The USA felt a tremendous burden to fulfill their fallen President's promise to his citizens. They owed it to JFK to make sure he was not made to look like a fool after the intelligence community had already failed him.
Need to know.
All the people involved in the Apollo missions believe they went. Radar, radio transmission, all of these technologies have been vulnerable to spoofing for decades - and still are (I'm looking at you, Nimitz). Putting the astronauts into orbit, and having their radio communication routed through a satellite which orbited the moon was how this was achieved. They watched the pre recorded footage and did voice overs, which is great when the helmets cover the astronauts faces. Listen to all those recordings and ask why they are never out of breath or strained when they talk. From all accounts they have great difficulty moving around in those suits and you need only watch modern space walks to see that's still the case. All Apollo footage sounds like voice overs, recorded in relative comfort. Sitting in orbit, speaking through repeaters which hop to a different frequency, only the Astronauts and a few CIA operatives would actually need to know. (oh and Stanley Kubrick in the lead up) :P there are many ways this could be made to look like a live signal, be honest with yourself and think about how YOU would achieve this.
Use your head and stop assuming that any counter arguments are impossible - if you are honest and believe in scientific integrity, play devil's advocate in these discussions and argue like your life depends on winning the debate. Moisture cannot exist in a vacuum, and footprints in the lunar dust require moisture. Battery technology to run climate control and air scrubbers has only been around since the 80's, and I don't see the radio's, the suits, the cameras (lol) running that whole mission in the extreme heat of direct sunlight, in a vacuum. You would have to reflect so much of that energy and between that environment, radiation levels and micro meteorites, those missions would not be survivable. It's the reason why we haven't been back there since. We have only recently developed the types of shielding we will need to go. And ffs, lost or recorded over the telemetry data from mankind's greatest accomplishment ever? They already told you how much it all cost, yet the most valuable data those missions yielded wasn't worth preserving? Not having spare tapes would delay any mission until it could be replaced. Get real and ask yourself if they would really allow that to be recorded over. The astronauts who were originally chosen to go were too honorable to lie, so they murdered them in the most scientifically obvious "accident" a high school student could have seen coming.
I really feel for the Apollo astronauts, I honestly do. I don't fault them for following orders or even wanting to honor JFK.. To bring the world together and unite us all. It was a noble lie. I am happy to be ambiguous about how I know all this, and leave things be. But do not belittle and make a mockery of people who really want to learn about this subject and I will happily keep my mouth shut about it. A healthy society should feel free to question their leaders without being ridiculed by people who are seemingly unaware of how effective their childhood education really was. It shapes the way you think, what you question, your sense of self and national pride. You only have to peel back the layers of truth to get a full understanding of how vulnerable we all are to psychological manipulation. Look into the laws regarding government propaganda, secrecy and spying on it's own people and then ask yourself - what other purpose could these systems be in place for, if not for situations like this?
