Longmire is an American modern Western crime drama television series that premiered on June 3, 2012 on the A&E network, developed by John Coveny and Hunt Baldwin. The series is based on the Walt Longmire Mysteries series of novels by Craig Johnson. It centers on Walt Longmire, a sheriff in fictional Absaroka County, Wyoming. He is assisted by staff, friends, and his daughter in investigating major crimes within his jurisdiction.

It's always hard letting go of the TV shows we love, no matter how long they were on or how long they've been off the air. Streaming has obviously made it much easier to revisit entire seasons of shows or to just drop in on favorite moments, but sometimes rewatching a show is not enough for the most fervent fans. For instance, "Longmire" has been over for years; the A&E-turned-Netflix series signed off in 2017 after six seasons. But that hasn't stopped some fans of the modern Western series, which adapted Craig Johnson's best-selling novels about a no-nonsense sheriff in Wyoming, from imagining what could happen next. Obviously, fans love to re-watch some of the best moments of Longmire, that includes some moments behind the scenes. These days, filming shows is never easy especially when dealing with strict health protocols due to the pandemic. But that does not prevent the casts and crews from enjoying it while working on our favorite tv series. A great book and series. A wonderful cast. This show could have gone a few more seasons. Will miss this series. A friend of mine that passed away a few years ago was after me to watch this show before it ended . I finally binge watched this on Peacock this year. My friend was right this show is awsome.

I dont understand why he wanted daughter to replace him when he retired. She may know about policing. I dont think she would survive the physical damage he has experienced. I think it would be a death sentence for her, no matter the intention to retain the integrity of the office.
