When I was growing up I had one of these carpets, and I loved to play around for hours with my toy cars. So recently I decided to recreate the carpet in Trackmania to relive some nostalgic childhood memories!

Htimh is such a legend! He made once graphics for a map of a friend of mine just because he thought the layout has potential. He also dominated the whole map creation domain as if he programmed it himself. Props to him!

that's huge portion of nostalgia indeed. not only just for the fact of the carpet-map, the feeling of a small car in this room gives a toy story x trackmania vibe where both are huge factors of my childhood. awesome.

That same carpet actually got me my first friend in school. I just moved to a different country and I could barely speak English, and when I went to the school I played on my own on the carpet with toy cars, then some kid came and asked if he could play with me. Without hesitation, I nodded because I knew he would make a great friend, and we later became friends.

That’s so awesome! I remember never having one of these carpets so I ended up using the tiles on the floor to plan out my own route to drive on with my toy cars and completely ruining my knees and pants by sliding over the floor too much hahaha
