They kind of managed to do the combat patrol well, I think. Or maybe it’s too Hereticus themed, I don’t even know - I just wish they’d get a generic Inquisitor model out.

Excited for Aveline! I'm going to headcanon a liitle excuse to integrate her into my own sisters order and think she's going to look fantastic in half white half orange.

This Inqiusutor battleforce sets only proves that GW has no fucking idea what to do with the army.

Aveline makes an excellent replacement for Junith Eruita, if, like me, you don't like that model. Base size is about the same, she has two flame weapons to represent the twin-linked Heavy Flamer, the relic shield for the defensive buff, and you can blame the Cherubs for FLY. The only thing it doesn't represent is Mounted, but she's, er, mounted on a base, so that counts.

Reallllyyyy hoping I can get my hands on the Aveline model, it's absolutely gorgeous, and even if I can't find something to proxy her with, it'll be a fun paint project

Based on the language from the announcement article describing "requisitioned" units, I think the four missing datasheets are Battle Sisters squads, Grey Knight terminator squads, Rhino and Immolator.

I really doubt it but the 4 unknown Datasheets could be the 4 Deathwatch Kill Teams... Hopeful DW player here ...
More likely I think they have included Datasheets for the Sisters of Battle squad and vehicle, Grey Knights Terminators and Chimera that are in the Battleforce boxes.

I just wanna know what's the detachment do tbh, really is the biggest deciding factor to me if I wanna dedicate an entire army to the Inquisition

I think what makes predicting how these will sell is, if youre a big enough fan of the inquisition to want these boxes... you probably already own most of what's in them. Obviously that wont apply to everyone, and some people will be just jumping in for the first time, but for example, I like all these boxes, but already own 2 full squads (4 boxes) of henchmen, 2 boxes of arbites, 30 breachers, all the inquisitors, all the assassins and an entire GK army. So, for current big fans of the inquisition, it basically boils down to spending $200 + for a couple new models. I really do like all the boxes, but I imagine ill prob go for the limited codex and then wait for individual releases for characters. Except Coteaz. You couldnt pay me to own that model.

The article says the new sisters model comes *with* the book and will have a Legends datasheet.

They have confirmed that Aveline will have legends rules.

the problem with Aveline is that the base size is not aligned with any of the Sisters characters. Might have to cut up the tactical rock to fit a 32mm base
