Giant Black Mamba is attacked by a dwarf Mongoose.

This is a Dwarf Mongoose attacking a huge Black Mamba snake in South Africa. It's unclear whether the Mongoose is hunting the Mamba or, attempting to drive the snake away from its burrow and young?
If it is hunting the Black Mamba, the Mongoose will torment the snake with its speed and agility and when the snake is exhausted, it will then attack the back of the snakes head for the kill. The black Mamba's venom is not lethal to the mongoose, so even for a snake of this size, a mongoose attack can carry high risk for the snakes survival.
