This is a selection of quotes from Albert Camus.

Albert Camus was a French philosopher, author, and journalist, awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1957. His work includes The Stranger, The Plague, The Fall and The Rebel.

Camus' own philosophy was grounded in absurdism, which refers to the inherent conflict present in many of use when we have a tendency to seek meaning and value in life but are ultimately unable to find it with certainty.

I hope you find it useful.

This might just be the best video I’ve seen on Albert Camus. Just his words (translated into English). No analysis necessary. And still as relevant as ever!

To the *incredible person* seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.

This is my favourite philosophy channel. The narrator's voice is soothing, assuring, and the background music is calming. I keep coming back for more. Thank you.

Please dive deeper into absurdity and nihilism. Absolutely beautiful to see something that shows how beautiful and freeing this sect of philosophy can really be.

Thank you so much.

Great video, definitely my favorite. Too bad I can't meet anyone in person who thinks like this. I always find it ironic that the ones who try to "save you" are the ones who ostracize you for thinking differently than the masses. No one is an arbiter of morality. As far as we know this earth is as far as we go so wouldn't it be better to live life to its fullest and try to make a world that's better for those who come after us. Is it wrong to care more for the preservation of this world than the preservation of ones own soul?
