Lori, Thank you so much for sharing such profound truths about walking through the most difficult pain of losing a child. While I have not been down this road, I lost both of my parents at an earlier age and understand some of the grief in which you speak. For anyone that is hurting, this testimony can bring light and hope into a dark situation. Lori so bravely speaks about trust and how she is learning to look to the future while still cherishing memories of the past. Time does not heal all wounds but can soften the edges. I love this and also will ponder on how both grief and joy can exist at the same time. This is why Jesus came to give us hope despite any circumstance we might be living in.
