I grew up here. I lived on the East Coast and Chicago. I recently came back. This area is an undersold gem in the US. Riverfront views. Decent music scene. Diverse cuisines. Access to Chicago, St Louis and Minneapolis. Plenty of cheap housing. Spacious and decent road quality. Chain restaurants and plenty of local food, including pizza.
