The Terraform Authoring and Operations (TAO) Professional Certification is a new certification from HashiCorp that is designed for practitioners who are responsible for authoring, maintaining, and operating infrastructure as code using HashiCorp Terraform.

The certification is the logical successor to the Terraform Associate Certification, which is aimed at a broader audience of practitioners who might be using Terraform in a variety of roles, including developers, operators, and security professionals.

It is end of Q3 2024 and the scarcity of info and study materials on this certification is quite surprising considering everyone and their momma is using Terraform these days.
Why is that, you think?

While I understand why I also hate that they have Terraform Cloud stuff to their certs. I don't use and probably will never use it and I don't want to have to know it in order to test my skills with the tool.
