i did it in 10 seconds. a^x^2/3 we can rewrite as a^k*2/3. immediately, we know that K is negative because x^-n = 1/x^n. but 2/3 isnt negative, so k isnt positive. and since 2/3*-3 = -2, then a is the answer

multiply each exponent by its conjugate (3/2).
This gives you
a^k = (1/a^2)^3/2

Remember that (1/a^2) = a^-2
-2 * 3/2 is *-3*

At first it took me a bit to think about where to start, then I was like:

1/a^2 = a^-2

So k must multiply to 2/3 to get -2, which obviously means k = -3

Easy peasy!

If a is greater than 0, it may be one and one to the power anything is one, so in a way all are the options are correct.
