I understand that people wont bet on england to win the world cup because many believe that they wont get out of the group stages, but the only threat i see is Italy, why are the newspapers shitting themselves over Uruguay, they only really have suarez and cavani (who's been in poor form this season). England have a good squad to be honest.

Hopefully they'll play with pace and good quality passing and not pass the ball out wide and cross which doesn't suit any of the strikers in the team. With so many quick players England could get far if they use a good counter-attacking strategy and hit their opponents hard on the counter I feel. But that means they have to be aggressive when they don't have the ball, we'll see. First step is to get out of a seriously tough group, all the games are going to be hard.
