Oh my God how difficult you were doing this simple desoldering task. I do this in 5 minutes only. Best method to do this you have to use nippers and cut pins on components side not solder side. Once all 4 small and large pins cutted your damaged connector will be in your hand. Then you have to heat pins with soldering iron and with the help of tweezer you can pull out. Once all pins removed from PCB holes you can easily clear PCB holes with desoldering pump or good quality solder wick. Isn't it simple? I hope you can try this method next time.
