The Final Feud

Based on an idea that Goku and Vegeta finally fight one last ultimate battle to see who truly is the strongest. Mustering all available abilities and transformations and using the entire universe as the battlefield. Going all out like a fight to the death that will forever rock all of Dragon Ball.

This Track should cover the whole 8-10min. mark so I did my best to get a sound right for a battle between that Saiyans, with all the forms they got and even extras and OH BOY this was the hard man!

You know, the image of Kaioken Blue Goku's aura at 6:58 just makes me wish they gave him a purple aura instead of two separate red and blues auras. After all red+blue = purple. Just imagine how cool that could have been.

Imagine Ultra Instinct Goku vs Ultra Ego Vegeta with this music playing in the background. That’d be epic af.

Edit: Decided to update this comment in 2024 with a little fanfic to go along with the song, as well as to make my version of what Goku and Vegeta’s final battle might look like. (This is not realistic at all, but rather for a bit of fun).

Fifteen years since the Shadow Dragons saga, the Earth has been at peace. The next generation, Goten, Trunks, Majuub, Bra and Pan have upheld their promise to defend the universe, with Gohan having trained to master his full potential.

Vegeta, now older, realizes he is nearing the end of his prime and is reaching the age of when a Saiyan begins to rapidly age and grow weak. Deep down, he wishes not to die on a bed, but as a warrior. One final battle.. with Son Goku.

And as if like a genie, who appears to him out of thin air than his old friend. Goku and Vegeta talk, with the former explaining that he’s been watching over the Earth from the realm above and only occasionally makes physical appearances. Vegeta is shocked that Kakarot is now back in his adult body, as ascending with Shenron caused an immense growth in power for Goku.

Vegeta is about to explain what’s been on his mind but Goku already knows, and tells him he would absolutely love to have one final fight with Vegeta. Besides, they could train and fight all the time in the Otherworld, but no better time than the present. And so, the two go off into space, with onlookers shocked to see Vegeta with Goku.

Far, far away from the Milky Way, in the middle of two galaxies stand two longtime rivals- No. not rivals. Brothers in arms. Two men who have defied all possible limits and have surpassed pantheons of Gods. Their old destroyer, Beerus, having been surpassed years ago.

The two focus in, and with not a single word uttered, the battle began.
Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan 2. Super Saiyan 3, and yes Vegeta had finally attained it. In the third level alone the macrocosms of 8 of the universes were shaking from just their auras.

Super Saiyan God. Super Saiyan Blue. Kaioken vs Evolution. Time and space itself was now their oyster. The Time Patrol and their Xeno counterparts became terrified of what kind of power was causing the entire multiverse and space-time continuum to react so violently.

The two paused. They depowered from their godly Super Saiyan forms, forms that were as well surpassed long ago.. by the most unexpected of methods.

The two transformed into the state that faced the sheer vengeful power of the Dragon Balls; Super Saiyan 4. Goku then smirked, powered up further. They both knew of Limit Breaker’s existence but independently they discovered an upgrade that in the long term proved more effective. As Super Saiyan 4 was a different branch of transformation it did not function the same as 1-3, and both Goku and Vegeta had decided to go to the Old Kai to have their potentials unlocked.

The form, we can just call “Ultimate Super Saiyan 4”, or USSJ4, surpassed Super Saiyan Blue in every way. But they didn’t stop it there.

They focused their auras to go into their bodies as to not leak any ki or cause any form of overflow.

Goku had perfect concentration, the electricity of Ultimate stacked onto level 4 was now occupied by a familiar angelic glow. Goku’s yellow eyes were now silver as his hair flowed by his aura. His hair and fur colour stayed the same. The primal Saiyan looked calm and serene.

Vegeta on the other hand had his USSJ4 state now covered by a monstrous purple aura. His eyebrows gone, his blue eyes now yellow, his red Super Saiyan 4 fur now slightly pink and his black hair now a dark shade of purple.

Through Ultimate Super Saiyan 4, they both could access their ultra states. Goku using True Ultra Instinct and Vegeta using Ultra Ego. The two looked at each other, the true battle began and within moments so fast it could never be counted with any number existing they were already destroying entire timelines with the aftershocks. The Time Patrol used every thing they had to mitigate the damage caused by isolating Goku and Vegeta’s universe so that the battle would affect only their universe. But one punch from Ultra Ego USSJ4 Vegeta sent Goku into breaking a wall in reality. They entered a realm between dimensions, and they kept going. The two warriors- No.. the two Gods did not care where they were, as long as they could continue and finish their final bout.

The Supreme Kai of Time eventually sent Xeno Goku and Vegeta to stop their counterparts from causing any more potential damage, but a Limit Breaker Vegito proved no challenge. The Time Patrol gave up and let Goku and Vegeta finish on their own terms.

Goku felt the calling from Shenron. His time to leave was soon, but he would not make the same mistake he made all those many years ago when the threat of Majin Buu was prevalent.

The two pulled back, long enough for a moment so they could talk. Goku and Vegeta looked around and saw that they had ended up drilling into the fabric of creation, and from up above Goku could see Arale reading the comment that You, yes you, are reading right now. Goku knew that he didn’t want to keep Shenron and the man upstairs waiting.

He explained to Vegeta that he had attained the final level. Vegeta is confused of course.. “Did you manage to combine your mastered form of Ultra Instinct with 4?”

“No Vegeta.. it is far beyond everything I could’ve ever imagined. I promised that I wouldn’t hold anything back.”

“Good! Now show me this new power of yours.”

Goku breathed in.. and out… and then..

His eyes shot open… completely blank… time froze. Vegeta wasn’t sure what was going on until an indescribable light exploded from Goku.

Vegeta could only make out the image of the entire multiverse and all its realms in the light, and then it concentrated into Goku, and dissipated.

The Ultimate form had an ascension that Gohan was able to unlock, the Beast form. He was able to achieve this while using ultimate in base just from his sheer natural potential.

Goku couldn’t access the Beast form while using Ultimate with his base… but Super Saiyan 4.. a power whose whole point is pushing your upmost power onto the surface was the perfect ingredient.

Vegeta couldn’t believe his eyes. The primal Super Saiyan now had completely white fur and hair, his eyes opened Red, only to become silver again once True Ultra Instinct reactivated.

Goku had done it. He was now.. a Super Saiyan 5.

No more holding back, the two had a final clash that shook existence. SSJ5 Goku’s power could’ve been almost infinite to even among the strongest of gods and mortals, but Vegeta would not be perturbed.

The Kamehameha vs the Galick Gun. The two beams locked in a struggle that felt like it could last forever, but Vegeta amped to his absolute max. He poured every single last bit of himself into one final blast. “FINAL. ATOMIC. FLASSSSHHH!!”

Goku went through his own beam and physically clashed with Vegeta’s attack.. and when it almost seemed like he was overwhelmed, Goku used his max power and screamed “SPIRIT DRAGON

The massive ki image of Goku launched the most powerful attack in history, and it cut through Vegeta’s beam and landed an absolutely perfect strike on his chest. The punch so powerful yet controlled so perfectly that it knocked Vegeta out cold while also pushing him back into their universe on Earth.

Goku depowered to base as the Earth wouldn’t be able to handle the mere presence of Super Saiyan 5 and teleported to help Vegeta up. They finally said their proper good byes and in a reversal of Fusion Reborn, Goku fades away and vanishes.

Vegeta heads home, and eventually years later he passes away peacefully and reunites with Bulma in the afterlife. Goku looking on at his two old friends in happiness. He rejoins Shenron, he goes back to the realm above and rejoins his final master - Sensei Tori Bot.
